HELLO!!!

     How is you familia doin? How is everyone?? Seems like you all are keeping pretty dang busy. Well yo tambien…haha!!! We have so much work here in Valles.  It is so good! So this is the last week with my companion probably, unless we have another change but I doubt that will happen. I really can’t believe how fast time is going by. I also can’t believe that Blake did not make it on Exec!!! What is wrong with Hurricane High School? I think that student council thing must be rigged haha.

     So to start with some good news... I found my memory card yeahhhh!!! It was in the bathroom in the house. Actually my companion found it. So I will be able to send you photos.  Yes I did by a new thing to send the photos and a usb to back up the photos:)

     Ethan’s hair looks really cool in the photos you sent… I like it.  So have you checked the weather meter thing for Valles? Wow… I think it was about 120 degrees Fahrenheit the other day. The weather is a lot like it was in Hurricane, it gets really hot and than it will be really cold the next day.

    So this week was Stake Conference in the church, and we had so many investigators and menos activos show up. Elder Rodas and I were sooo happy to see all the progress. We have a lot of new investigators also. We dropped one of the old that we were teaching and started with new. The guys name is Estephen.  He is 19 and he is like gold haha. He contacted us running toward us yelling “Elders bautizar me” hahahaha… but seriously he is so ready and I am really excited to start teaching him.

     We have been having a lot of success in Valles. Realcampastre 2. I really love my area and all the people in my area. They all do so much for us and I feel so blessed to be in such a good area. I’m going to be sad when my companion leaves, if he leaves this change. He has been such a good example and missionary for me.     

     This photo is of the new investigator… yup he is going to be a good missionary!  I know it, I can feel it and we haven’t even taught him yet.  He went to church without even having a lesson. Ya, how awesome is he? haha:)

     No I didn’t have a bad experience in divisions… haha I just don’t really like to do them that much, that is all haha. Thanks for the really long letter haha I like that.  Sorry this letter is not that long. But this week felt so fast I still can’t believe it’s over. Well, I love all of you so much!!! Hello hi,

     Wow I can’t believe how busy everyone has been back home! Sounds like you guys need to take another vacation and rest little bit haha.  I really hope Blake makes the exec council… sounds like he has really been putting in some hard work! Also seems like Ethan and the team are doing pretty good? That’s good to hear!  I can’t believe how sick everyone keeps getting back home, you guys should probably start taking vitamins or something haha jk.  Good to hear that everyone is doing good tho, really good.  Hey I forgot to tell you a while ago, but please tell the Frosts and Sister Hunt that I got the cards they sent me and thanks so much it really means a lot:)

     So I’ll start this letter. This week was actually pretty hard for me! I have been feeling a lot of stress and I never feel stressed out ha. I was so busy this week and had so much going on!!! I don’t even know where to start. Well I lost my memory card to my camera.... yep so there goes my life I had in the mission right there!! I have no idea where it is! It is gone.

     I went on divisions again this week. I’m not going to lie, I don’t really like divisions that much at all.  But I always learn so much from them and it’s a good way to keep progressing in the mission.  The fair is going on right now and so there is a lot of people in Valles on vacations and stuff… so that’s pretty cool I guess haha:)

     SO the good news is YES we had the baptism of Vanessa and it was so great!! It was so spiritual. We had some really spiritual people give some talks and it all turned out so good! She was so happy and cried in the end when she said her testimony.

     I have been trying to improve in the ways I teach and learn the lessons better, so I’ve been studying my brains out! I feel like everyone is pressuring me and wants to know everything in like one night…its pretty crazy.  I was actually feelin a little home sick this week. I even got a little tear in my eye but other than that I am doing really good!! I’ve just got to remember that I can only do my best and it doesn’t matter what other people think. I’m always improving in everything everyday.  Everything we do, we can always do better in. I learn so much every day & every week and am so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord.  I’ve learned so much from my companion that I can’t even put it into words. At times he looks mad but he has so much love for every person…he really is just a big teddy bear.

Hello family!!

      That’s so awesome that you guys are going to Vegas for Spring Break. That sounds like it will be really fun… and Blake is going to California… what the heck!! Hahaha that’s way cool. Sounds like the baseball team is off to a good start!! They are probably better then we were last year I guess?? Well let’s hope so...haha!! That’s so tight that everyone on the team has mullets and beards and stuff haha!! Me and my companion played baseball in a cow field with the ninos one time… it was a good time haha.

     So this week we were super busy planning the Hawaiian activity and preparing everything for it!! So the activity was all about the Plan of Salvation.  Elder Rodas and I dressed up as angels haha. It turned out really great I thought. But the attendance wasn’t too good this time to the activity.  I’ll send some pictures of it.

      I’m going to buy a new translator and picture sender and memory card. So I will need money in my bank…thank you.

     Not too many of our investigators came to church this week…But Vanessa came, she is an investigator and we are baptizing her this week!! I’m really happy for her choice. She is a smart girl. She is only 9 years old and her mom was inactive but we activated her so heck ya haha!! Yeah… we’re doing work out here in Valles!! following the Spirit and eating pizza.;) haha.

     I can’t believe Joe barely writes his mom…haha that’s pretty crazy!! I’m sure he is doing really good though. And Casey and Kelsey getting married… wow that is crazy!! Hope everyone is doing really good!!! I love you all so much thanks for everything:)

Hey,

     Sorry I didn’t write yesterday. The email of my companion did not work yesterday.  Of course I am doing fabulous as usual haha:)  The work of the Lord is a fabulous thing! Sounds like you guys have been pretty busy there in Hurricane…especially with Blake running for exec council. That’s pretty dang awesome! Good luck to Blake…I bet he makes it! That’s good that Blake made the baseball team also. That’s tight that Ethan is tearin it up in baseball also, sounds like he takes after his older brother haha:)

    So this weekend seemed really fast… we’ve been working really hard and time is flyin by. The investigators that we teach are Yesenia, Gricelda, Maria, Esther, Carolina, Thelma, and Vanesa.  Vanesa is getting baptized on 16th of this month so we are really excited for that!!  We have another missionary activity this week and so we’ve been busy planning for that.  It’s called take a trip to Hawaii. It’s going to be in the church and it’s going to be like a Hawaiian luau or whatever those are called. We’re going to decorate the rooms like you’re in an airplane and taking a trip of life and all the stuff that happens in life. Then in the kingdom of glories it’s going to be really cool and spiritual.

    Of course we have many spiritual experiences with our investigators. Pretty much every time we teach it is a spiritual experience because we have the espiritu santo with us always:) Yeah I take part in the lessons! Can you believe I have 6 months in the mission… wow time flies!! My Spanish is really good no problem there at all…I feel so blessed for that.  I speak it and understand everything so yeah, I guess I’m fluent haha…thanks for the questions:):) I think my Spanish might be almost better than my English now haha:)

    Here is a pretty funny experience for you guys…  So the other night it was really dark when we were walking and walking fast of course.  I guess I didn’t see the lip of the curve and I hit that thing and tripped and fell into the street.  My companion didn’t know what was going on… he was laughing when I got up all fast and stuff…. saying I’m ok estabian estabian ali es no problemo haha stuff like that but it was pretty funny in the moment. Then I looked at the Spanish translator I had bought and it was broken. So I’m going to go try taking it back today.  That watch in the photo looks way nice! haha but it’s a way simple small watch that I bought for cheap haha:)

   Yeah,  we ran out of money really fast in the last change so I had to use the money from my bank account. Oh and another thing that broke when I fell is the thing I use to send photos.  So ya que mal!!  Could you please pretty please send me another with a usb so I could put all my photos on the usb.  My memory for the camera is about full so another memory card also:) Please in the next package. THANK YOU!  I love all of you guys so much!! I wish I could send you photos because I’ve got some really good ones this week!!!

     I’m doing really great and loving Valles.  Some days the sun is really hot and other days it’s way cold. But for some reason my skin is amazing and doesn’t change that much like all the other whites… their skin is now red and I look the whitest even though I’m not that white.  My skin just turns tan really slowly haha so it’s a blessing:) well I’ve got to go.  Love you all and hope everyone is healthy and doing good:) bye love you all.
